Camelia Dobrin is a talented illustrator from Falmouth, UK. Her illustration if fresh and fun and have been featured in several design magazine. Thank you to Camelia for answering my questions.

Q. Your art varied from product design, fashion and mash-up of different art forms. Which one is your favorite art form?
A. Most of my works are hand drawn and digitally coloured, so I might say I like illustration and drawings but also graffiti and comics.

Q. Where do you get your inspiration from?
A. I browse through magazines and internet, but I also get a lot of inspiration from music.

Q. How do you describe your style?
A. I guess somewhere between cartoon, freestyle and graffiti.

Q. Who are your favorite artists?
A. Most of the artists I like are contemporary ones, like blu, noper, matthew curry etc.

Q. How long does it took for you to finish a certain projects?
A. It takes me a few days, within a week.

Q. Have you done any collaboration with other artist or company?
A. I’m afraid not yet, but I am interested in collaborating with companies and artists.

Q. Who do you want to work with in the future?
A. I think What Collective and Daydream.

Q. Do you do an extensive planning before starting on a certain project or you like to just do it, improvise and add on new ideas while doing it?
A. I sometimes start with a raw sketch and add ideas while drawing, letting myself go with the flow.

Q. What do you think are the most important things one should have to become a successful illustrator?
A. Oh, I would like to know that too. :) But I think it’s all about notoriety, ambition and confidence.

Q. Any last words?
A. I like waffles!
